64-hour Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV) Course
$900 total ($100 registration fee, $800 course fee)
This eight day course will satisfy the USCG exam requirements for any OUPV license and covers four
subject areas: Navigation General; Chart Navigation; Rules of the Road; and Deck General, Safety
and Environmental Protection. The USCG approval reads:
No prerequisite licenses or courses. This course is scheduled 0800 through 1700 daily over eight
consecutive days; Monday through Monday on the following dates:

- Any applicant who has successfully completed your 64-hour Operator of Uninspected Passenger
Vessels (OUPV) course and presents your Certificate of Training WITHIN ONE YEAR of the
completion of training, will satisfy the examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(i) for original
issuance, 46 CFR 10. 209(c)(iii) for renewal, and 46 CFR 10.209(f) for reissuance of a license as
Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (Near Coastal).
