4-hour Assistance Towing Endorsement course
$100 course fee
This four hour course will satisfy the USCG exam requirements for adding "authorized to engage in
commercial assistance towing" to any OUPV or Master 200 ton or less license. The USCG approval
reads:
4-hour Auxiliary Sail Endorsement course
$100 course fee
This four hour course will satisfy the USCG exam requirements for adding "auxiliary sailing vessels"
to any Master or Mate 200 ton or less license. The USCG approval reads:
The student must hold a valid license or course completion certificate.
These courses are scheduled by appointment only, one student at a time.

This four hour course will satisfy the USCG exam requirements for adding "authorized to engage in
commercial assistance towing" to any OUPV or Master 200 ton or less license. The USCG approval
reads:
- Any applicant who has successfully completed your 4-hour Assistance Towing course and presents
your Certificate of Training WITHIN ONE YEAR of the completion of training, will satisfy the
examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.482(b) for an Assistance Towing endorsement to any
license up to Master Not More Than 200 gross tons.
4-hour Auxiliary Sail Endorsement course
$100 course fee
This four hour course will satisfy the USCG exam requirements for adding "auxiliary sailing vessels"
to any Master or Mate 200 ton or less license. The USCG approval reads:
- Any applicant who has successfully completed your 4-hour Auxiliary Sail course and presents your
Certificate of Training WITHIN ONE YEAR of the completion of training, will satisfy the examination
requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(i) for an Auxiliary Sail endorsement to any deck license up to 200
gross tons.
The student must hold a valid license or course completion certificate.
These courses are scheduled by appointment only, one student at a time.
